Data about the Voluntary, Community & Social Enterprise sector

We've been exploring how to make accessing and interrogating VCSE sector data as easy as possible

Through our work with the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise (VCSE) sector in London we identified that people struggled to find a clear picture of what is going on at a London wide level, within Integrated Care Systems (ICS) and within their own borough or local area.

While there are several large publicly available data sets to explore, most organisations don't have the resources to tap into them properly. So we decided to try and create a tool which could provide an accessible, easy to use way of exploring London's amazing VCSE sector.

We've already made lots of additions to the dashboard based on input and feedback from people working in the sector, both in conversation and at co-design sessions, before launching the tool in July 2025.

We'd love to hear your thoughts. Will this be useful for you? Do you have any suggestions for additional specific functionality you'd like to see?

Please contact alicelinell@superhighways.org.uk with any feedback.

Your input will help ensure it’s genuinely useful — whether you're delivering services, making funding decisions, or supporting community action.
