Although GDPR is EU legislation on data protection, the UK government has made arrangements to incorporate much of the same provisions into UK law after the transition period ends on 31st December.
There will, however, be some important implications, especially for situations where data is processed outside the UK (for example by a cloud service provider or data host), or where your organisation receives personal data from organisations outside the UK.
